About Cumulogranite Flying Club:
Cumulogranite Flying Club is the result of several local pilots' dissatisfaction with the other flight schools in the Anchorage area. We were founded for the purpose of bringing fun, affordable and safe aviation back to local pilots. We offer several well-maintained aircraft of varying capacity and complexity--from small Cessna 150 and 152 trainers, to the sporty Grumman AA5B and the sophisticated Cessna Cardinal RG. All of our aircraft undergo periodic 100-hour inspections and yearly annual inspections, in compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations.

CFC brings the fun back into general aviation. During the summer, we have "Hangar Flying" barbecues on the first Saturday of every month. On the third Saturday of the month, we have "Hundred-dollar Hamburger" fly-ins, where club members fly together to various airports for lunch. Frequent destinations include Skwentna, Talkeetna, Homer and Fairbanks.At CFC, we emphasize the social aspects of aviation--we want to share the camaraderie of aviation with those who share our passion for flying!

Flight Training:
Cumulogranite Flying Club offers a number of flight training programs, from primary pilot training and "Pinch Hitter" courses (for spouses of pilots) to advanced ratings such as high-performance checkouts, float ratings and tailwheel training. E-mail us or give us a call for more information.

Aircraft Rentals:
For pilots who are already licensed, we offer several different airplanes for solo flight. While our airplanes are usually rented for one to four hour blocks, we do allow pilots to take extended trips with our aircraft. During our slow season (October through April), there is no daily minimum for extended trips. From May through September, daily usage is billed at a three hour per day minimum. For longer trips, inquire about "contract times"--where you pay a fixed fee for an extended rental, regardless of logged flight time.
